Doing Work You Love  Workshop
7:00 – 9:00 PM,  Mondays, July 21, 28 and August 4
 St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

St. Paul’s invites you to a special 3-session Doing Work You Love workshop facilitated by career coach and author Anne Gilman   This popular upbeat workshop can help you discover how to use your talents, experience, and interests in today's job market.

Most people fell into their first job by accident and their career developed from there.  Or they pursued paths that others had decided for them and spent much of their time 'fitting in' and surviving.  In all the busy-ness of growing up, achieving, earning a living, and managing everyday life, they forgot what they really loved doing and what fed their soul.

Doing Work You Love workshops provide you with information, tools, and language to create the work you dream of having and earn a living.  In it you will learn how to:

- Create work that fits who you are, your values and time
- Demystify the job search process and options available to you
- Write a resume/bio that reflects what you want to do next – not what you’ve already done that you don’t want to do again
- Find the people and organizations that will be most interested in you and what you want to contribute
- Ask for what you want with power and control
- Get the support you need from people who can help you and who will want you to succeed

Anne Gilman, also known as Cheryl Gilman, has been coaching people on their careers since she can remember. After 20 years in high tech managing global engineering programs, recruiting in human resources organizations, and leading outplacement seminars for those recently laid off, Anne started leading DWYL workshops in 1993. She believed there was a better way to work and find the right jobs.  These upbeat workshops have attracted people from all industries and professions across the US.  Anne is also the author of the best selling book Doing Work You Love, McGraw-Hill/Contemporary 1997; Barnes & Noble 2002.  She lives in Wellesley and offers private and group career coaching services.  Her email is anne@anne-gilman.com.
